Interestingly, the shell can also be used as a calendar.
The 13 large squares in the center of the shell represent the 13 full moons of the year.
The 28 smaller squares around the perimeter represent the 28 days of each lunar month.
The decorated rawhide rattle head is approximately 3" in diameter.
The wooden handle is wrapped in sueded leather, accented with colorful seed beads,
pony beads, rabbit fur, fringe and hanging loop.
