Traditional Powder Horn
The powder horn was a personal container for holding gunpowder.
Typically they were made from buffalo or cow horn.
Great for reenactments or pow-wows!
Predominantly black and ivory...reminiscent of polished marble.
12.5" in length
Cap and plug are made from indigenous hardwoods.
Cap is attached to horn with small brass nails.
Diameter is 2.25"
Plug is attached with leather strap to ensure safe keeping.
Pour hole is .375" in diameter.
Strap measures 48" and can be shortened.
